ReplyDeleteToday, I turned in my essay late. I turned in my essay late because it did not go through. I thought I had submitted my documents. However; I noticed I had only uploaded them. I am pretty upset with myself because I do not want any points taken off of it.
I am still unfamiliar with moodle as well. In High School we used turnitin.com to summit our papers and essays and it's completely different then moodle. Blogging on moodle though has been very helpful for me. It's making me get use to the website.

DeleteI remember using turnitin.com in high school also. Moodle does not overwhelm me as much as turnitin. Blogging daily helps me understand the webpages more.

DeleteI think that is a great topic point. I would argue that life is great, because we are living in such a technologically advanced world. However, if we do not know have the knowledge on how to use those technological advancements, then life is not as great as we thought.

In addition, I would like to travel to the States, because I find traveling fun. If I visited the States, I would go sightseeing and shopping. I hope I can visit my friends during Spring Break.
Today's class activities included posting on Moodle about the definition of an essay. I did not know the real definition of an essay prior to reading the textbook. The textbook defines an essay as "a group of paragraphs" (82).
I have never been to states. Going states is one of my dream.

ReplyDeleteTOPIC SENTENCE: Lately I have been struggling with my usual sleep pattern.
ReplyDeleteToday's class activities revolved around the structure and components of an essay. Which are fairly similar to those of a paragraph, only on a bigger scale. But overall, essays and paragraphs share similar traits. This to me was monumental in transitioning from writing paragraphs to writing essays.
The topic in here however, has been largely about our moodle website and our confusion is effectively navigating it. I would sincerely hope that Dr. Rivera allows those who turned in their essays late, due to their confusion in navigating the moodle site, to retain their initial grades and not loose points. Dr. Rivera, I respectfully and humbly request that you please, please, consider this, thank you.
I almost did the same thing with moodle yesterday. Luckily, I went back to double check and was able to fix it.

Today I was able to sit down and read about essays and topic sentences. It was so nice and quiet in my house. I didn't have to work and all my kids were gone. A rarity for me. I have issues figuring out where and when to put my topic sentences. Even just trying to figure out how to write a topic sentence is a problem. Once I get it then everything starts to come together.

ReplyDeleteToday in class we disscus structure, organization, and components of an essay. There is more to an essay than just an intro body and conclusion. Without structure there is no point in writing it in the first place.
Topic Sentence: I have decided to quit smoking.
