  1. A fundamental and crucial part of writing, in any genre, is the writer's ability to revise and edit their work. Without this ability, much of what we would read would either enrage us, confuse us or just plain mislead us. Hence, revising and editing is important to readers in this sense. To a writer, revising and editing is important because it allows them to preview their work, make necessary corrections in both grammar and punctuation, expand on a certain topic or the material as a whole, and the ability to do this before the eventual reader. Revising and editing allows a writer to "touch-up" their work in every aspect, so as to produce the best end product, as far as literature is concerned.

Today's class further expanded on all stages of the Writing Process, and our understanding of the stages involved. We then demonstrated such understanding through our discussion and shared thoughts pertaining to Leah's essay.
