I used to use this site in Junior Year. The only parts of this site I find resourceful are the formatting and styling and the tab "Workplace Writers" that lead to more Purdue Owl resources. This tab provides links to information to those in the workplace and people writing during a job or during a job process. Aside from the references that I find useful, I like how Purdue Owl also gives links and references for grades 7-12, English as a second language, and adult basic education. There is also a tab for parents. This webpage is resourceful for young adults and older.
I completely agree, this site is for everyone. What I liked most about this website is the formatting and styling of a paper. I struggle formatting and citing my sources for papers whether it's MLA or APA. I always need a guide to help me and I will definitely go back to this site for reference.
I went to look at the one you talking about, it was resourceful. There is a part teach you about different kind of essay genre like fiction, research papers, and poetry. These are the part we did not go over in English 100, but will learn later on. I believe this site can help us in other English level class too.

I found this site to be very resourceful because it has everything a writer needs to write an effective essay. This site has everything you need to be a successful writer. This site is for everyone. It has information for grades 7-12, for people that English is their second language, parents, and professional writers. The Purdue Writing Lab is a perfect way to test your knowledge in writing and reading comprehension. I will definitely go back to this site because I need guidance in formatting my paper whether it’s APA or MLA. I tend to get confused when I’m formatting and siting my sources but I will definitely go back to this site for future reference.
I will also use this site when I need guidance in formatting. I have had other references regarding MLA or APA formatting, and this is the one reference I understand. It surely has everything I need to write a well formatted paper.

There were a few resourceful things I found on the website. First, the Sitemap hyperlink to the left. It was like a book on how to write properly and perfectly on any matter of subject. Another the resourceful thing I found was all the links under Research and Citation. It guides you on how to start your research and finish your research with citations effectively. I'm pretty sure I will find more resources if I keep exploring the website. Bur for now, I going to bookmark this website for future reference as I have with the previous websites for future reference because I found them to be resourceful.

Yes, I agree. The site does allow willing teachers/instructors to utilize some of its offered assignments as their own, in-class assignments. Big plus there.

This is the most resourceful website I have seen. This site is also for the ESL person who is exactly like me. Furthermore, it has the Youtube videos to learn grammar and writing skill easily.

The website contains all the information writers need to excel in their essay-writing skills. The Online Writing Lab guides writers by teaching them how to do a myriad of writing skills. The information I found the most resourceful on this website is the material on research and citation and subject-specific writing. The information on research and citation taught me how to use academic sources and avoid plagiarism. The information on subject-specific taught me the right way to write for every class I will have in the future.
One of the reason l like this site is, it had job search writing. It included how you preparing an application and job search letter. This site is not only for students but also for adult. I believe in the future, I can still use this site.
I like how it doesn't only offer knowledge on grammar but stuff like that too! It guides you on applying to colleges and all that other good stuff on adulthood. It's such a good website.
I really liked how it offers teaching ESL. The site is resourceful because it offers everything and anything a person needs to learn on writing grammatically acceptable sentences, paragraphs, then essays in the English language. It also talks about how to write the kinds of essays we've been learning about. It tells about fallacies and things to avoid when writing. It offers visuals, citations, and even advice about college.
I can go on and on, but the site just has so much information about writing properly and beyond that anyone looking to learn to properly write in the English language can no way call it non-resourceful.
I think that this website is more than useful to students completing essays and people who arent students but still need an reference when stuck with anything regarding formatting and essay-writing. Almost all of my high school teachers and middle school teachers have used this website as a reference for us students to use with their essays and I agree with them that it's definitely useful. It's useful because it contains info on writing as small as grammar to anything regarding format, like MLA (Modern Language Associasion) or APA (American Psychological Association, to writing simple things like business letters. I think that this website was and is a great reference for anyone, not just students.

It's good for writing essay and teaching the basics. It helps to better reading and writing skills because when you practice one you get better at the other.
Like most literary websites, the Purdue Owl Engagement website offers a variety of useful tools and links to aid, and to provide additional resources for both the avid writer and the beginner. My only qualm with such sites that links you to other websites, rather than having the information readily available for you on their site, is that it causes a break in concentration as you transition from one site to the next. At least that is how it is with me. Though in-light of all that, the Purdue Owl Engagement website is one of the few literary websites that offer a hands-on approach (or guide if you will) to writing an effective resume. Something that many literary websites neglect, yet remains a lacking application (or skill) for most college students and beyond. So that for me was a very resourceful aspect of the site. And as Casiana had mentioned in her blog, the site also has references to ESL and the general Adult Basic Education courses. Both of which I also found to be very resourceful.
This is a very resourceful site. I have used this site on many occasions. Wither you would like to find resourceful websites to do research or learn how to cite your sources this site is helpful. On this site you learn how to do MLA and APA format. Also this site is useful for a wide range of level of study. I have used this site for all my research papers.
