  1. I found this site to be very resourceful because it has everything you need to be a good writer. This site will help me in the future essays, power points, and quizzes I do. I will be sure to use this site tonight when I'm doing my Test#4. I struggle distinguishing an adjective from an adverb but this site helped me distinguish one from the other. This site is also helpful for the three stages of the writing process. It shows you how to do stage one, two, and three of the writing process.

  2. I found this webpage to be exceedingly helpful. It was especially helpful because I have a PowerPoint presentation due this week for another class and I have little knowledge on how to manage PowerPoint, so I was provided with tips and steps on how to have a successful presentation. This is also helpful when referring to issues when writing essays, such as COPS, CGPS, CLUESS. It also provides quizzes to test your skills which will assist a student in memorizing important information. I will definitely refer back to this site when I need tips on grammar and writing.

    2. I also have little knowledge on how to manage PowerPoint. Whenever I use PowerPoint my work is disorganized and messy. When I get a PowerPoint assignment I will be sure to go back to this site for help. I will definitely go back to this site for the future classes I take a UOG.

Prior to viewing the website, I did not know how to make a good presentation, as I had to learn to create PowerPoints by myself. 4. I did find this site resourceful. It has most of what a writer needs to guide them in writing. My favorite part of the site was the writer's block section in the "essay & research paper level" area. Writer's block is probably my biggest problem and a problem anyone has. It says that we're just over thinking it and need to relax when we write. We can fix whatever mistakes we make later in the editing process.

    1. I have writer's block sometimes, as well. I usually get frustrated when I want to be creative or get my work done, but I cannot, because I have writer's block. Luckily, the website is an excellent resource to use to try and combat writer's block.

    2. Indeed. Often the role of revising and editing in overlooked in the initial writing process. We forget that we should simply write what comes to mind and not get caught up with over-analyzing our material. Once we have our thoughts on paper, we can use our time in revising and editing to formulate and arrange such ideas to fit our desired or projected outcome.

  5. I found this link very helpful. It was helpful because as I was playing around with it, it showed me the steps on how to write an essay. So, if ever I forget the steps or types of essays, I could refer to this website.

  6. I have always wanted a resource like this. Grammar is one of the hardest things to learn in English. Specifically, I am weak at using prepositions. I usually get confused with which verb has to be with what preposition, but this explains all about prepositions, such as, preposition of time, place, and locator. Also, it explains about prepositions with Nouns, Adjectives, and Verbs. I am talking about just one part of Guide to grammar and writing. There are plenty more resources are on this website. I will try to use this a lot.

For example, the website furthered my understanding on using unbiased language. In addition, I learned how to organize my essays.

  17. Wow! Very interesting site. I love the pop-down tabs with its lists of resources. It is very user-friendly and thorough. With this site, the greatest aspect for me is its arrangement. Immediately upon viewing the main page, I was aware of the sites contents and how to navigate it. I love how it offers a general topic, with the pop-down tabs with related sub-topics. It is by far one of the most user-friendly sites I've come across throughout the course of this class. I especially love the "Essay and Research Level" tab, along with the "Ask Grammar, Quizzes and Search Devices" tab. I'm definitely bookmarking this link as well.
